WELCOME TO WIITA MINING AND EXPLORATION

Last updated 9-23-09

Wiita Mining and Exploration is a family owned and operated mining company located in Blythe, Ca. specializing in gold and precious metals, although we have been involved in numerous gem and mineral operations as well. We are happy to announce we are doing very good in our (8) exploration trenches that we are working in our Middle Camp Mining District operation. We should have this property ready for an official Plan of Operation towards the end of 2009. The Middle Camp Mining District is known for it's nuggets, and this property has not been a let down. The last exploration we did in this district on our 40 acres below this 40 acres produced an 11 troy ounce nugget, and over 120 troy ounces of other nuggets. We here at Wiita Mining and Exploration are just thrilled to announce the completion of our new processing plant. This plant will work as a recirculating high banking system that will handle up to 100 yards per hour. Currently we have approx. 200,000 yards of classified material stockpiled where this machine is being constructed, so when it's up and, running we are ready to test this machines limits. Last but, not least Wiita Mining and Exploration is branching out once again, in early 2009 we will begin fabricating our own machines for sale to the public. Right now our machines are only built for 10 - 100 yards an hour, but our engineers are hard at work developing a recreational version for the weekend prospector.  As soon as the patents are secured we'll throw some pictures on our website for you to check out.   Here's a little history on the La Paz & Middle Camp districts. Americans discovered gold in the area in 1862, although mexican miners had been working this area for years before. Between the years of 1862 and 1868 350,000 ounces were found in the La Paz district. The largest nugget said to be found in the district was a 64 ouncer. Most of the gold is coarse, with many nuggets of an ounce or more. The average fineness is around 0.920, with the main impurity being silver. Platinum-group metals, native silver, and native mercury have also been reported to occur in the gravels.

 NEW !!

Check out the WM&E Rock Shop pages, it will replace the geodedude site Checks, and Money orders only.

My direct e-mail address is wiitas@aol.com
We are closing down our geode dude web store. We will still be selling the most unique treasures on earth, just through this site. We will no longer except credit cards, only checks, and money orders. I was just the victim of identity theft, and will never give my card numbers online again. Sorry for this drastic action, but I never want anyone to go through this. Thanks Craig Wiita
